How to Convert Google Slides to PowerPoint

Converting a Google Slide presentation to PowerPoint (.pptx) takes only a few steps and can be done within the Google Slides interface:

  1. Open your presentation.

    Launch your Google Slides presentation.

  2. Select the File tab, then select Download.
  3. Choose Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) from the list of file formats.

    Go to Files > Download and choose Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx).

  4. A PowerPoint version of your Google Slide presentation will be downloaded as a .pptx file in your browser. By default, it will be downloaded to the Downloads folder on your computer.
