How to Hide (and Unhide) a Slide in Google Sheets

Hiding a slide in Google Slides can be useful in certain situations. For example, if you are unsure if a certain slide should be included in your presentation and would like to have it available for a last-minute change. In this guide, we’ll show you how to hide and unhide slides in Google Slides.

Note: the slide will be hidden during the presentation but will still be visible in the slide overview.

Hiding and Unhiding a Slide in Google Slides

  1. Launch your Google Slides presentation from their official website.
  2. Navigate to the slide that you want to hide. Right-click it and from the list of options, select Skip slide.

  3. Once hidden, you’ll see a crossed-out eye icon on the slide thumbnail.

  4. To unhide, right-click the slide from the slide sorter and select the Skip Slide option once again to uncheck it. The crossed-out eye icon will also disappear from its thumbnail.
