How to Sort by Date in Google Sheets

When the dates in a sheet are not in the chronological order or the order you want, Google Sheet allows you to sort them. Follow these steps to sort by date in Google Sheets:

    1. Select the date range you want to sort. I am selecting the range A2 to A9.

    2. Navigate to the Data menu and choose the Sort range option. From the sub-menu, choose ascending (A to Z) or descending (Z to A).
