Siri on AirPods can help you answer calls, send text messages, change music and do more without having to reach out for your phone. It’s a helpful feature, but it’s not for everyone.
If you don’t enjoy using Siri on your AirPods and find her notifications annoying (there are ways to turn AirPod notifications off), you can disable her in your iPhone’s settings.
Changing the controls on your AirPods to stop them from activating Siri
Note that while you can change the function of the touch controls/force sensor on the AirPods to prevent them from using Siri, you’ll still be able to trigger Siri by saying, “Hey Siri.”

Disabling “Hey Siri” on the iPhone
If you change the controls on your AirPods to turn off Siri, you’ll still be able to trigger it on your iPhone by saying, “Hey Siri.” Remember, though, that this method will also turn off the “Hey Siri” feature even when you’re not wearing your AirPods.

Tap the toggle next to Listen for “Hey Siri”.
