How to Check If Your iPhone Is Locked
Open the Settings app.
In the “General” settings, go to About.
Scroll down until you see “Carrier Lock”. If it says “No SIM restrictions”, that means your iPhone is already unlocked. If it says “SIM locked”, then your contract isn’t over yet and you still have payments left to make.
