How to Find AirPods Case if It’s Lost or Stolen

Losing your AirPods case is common, but luckily, there are a few methods to help you find them. AirPods can’t function without the case as it’s needed to charge and pair with them, so it must be found. Buying a new case should be a last resort.

Find My is an Apple app that lets you locate all of your Apple devices. To find your lost AirPods case, you can use the Find My app. However, you can only use it if both of the following conditions are met:

  • You set up the Find My app before you lost the AirPods case.
  • One of the AirPods is still inside the case.

If these conditions aren’t met, it won’t be possible to locate your AirPods case using Finy My.

The case itself doesn’t have the H1 chip installed in the AirPods, which means there’s no way to track its location unless one of the AirPods is inside it.

The app will only be able to locate your devices if you turned on the feature and added your AirPods to Find My before you lost them.
